In Psalm 71, we are reminded how important it is to speak out loud about the ways God has been faithful to us. The psalmist shows us that sharing our stories of God’s goodness strengthens our own faith and helps the next generation learn to trust Him, too.
Let’s put that into practice together. In the comments below, take a moment to share how you’ve seen God’s faithfulness in your life: big or small, recent or from years past. Your story might be just what someone else needs to hear today, and it will also help strengthen your own faith as you reflect and share it.

It was Labor Day weekend in the late 70’s, we were a young family with 2 elementary school age children and we decided to go tent camping for a few days.
Having to work on Saturday meant we didn’t leave home for the 2 hour drive to the state park with camping sites until the latter part of the day.
My car had developed a squeak coming from somewhere in the front of the car and really had not given it much attention.
It was dark when we arrived at the park after driving on an interstate for several hours at speeds of 70 mph.
We made a slow loop around the small area scouting for an available camp site…
I was blessed to grow up as a part of a very large family. My mother has 9 siblings. I am the oldest girl of 25 cousins and now have 16 second cousins. Most of them live in New Jersey and although, my parents moved us to NC, we made several trips a year back up north for holidays and special occasions. One of the things we all enjoyed the most was our yearly family reunion at a lake in NJ. My Grandma passed away in 2013 and the reunions stopped. Unfortunately, with a large family also comes clashing personalities, differing opinions and other issues. My Grandma was the glue that held us all together despite the small differences. She…
In December of 2007, Heather and I received diagnoses for two of our children. It was a hard month for me emotionally and spiritually. In January of 08, it was time to get busy, and move forward in helping our children, especially Jackson Cole (not because we like him better, but because autism was a more difficult issue to tackle.)
The first thing we did, was have the elders from E10 come to our house and pray on us and him. They prayed that Heather and I could handle the struggles ahead, remain a team, find the right doctors, the best treatments, and the funding needed to help Jackson Cole. They prayed for Gods wisdom and healing to be upon…
There are so many times that God has shown His wonderful love to me and my family that it is hard to choose. I could absolutely fill up many pages but I think I will Praise God for the time Dalton died on the golf course on hole #10. With the help of a man that was 150 yards behind him coming to give him CPR and the 1st and 2nd responders shocking him multiple times, he probably would not have made it. After being airlifted to Wake, the doctors were able to place stents and by the Grace of God, he is still here and on the golf course regularly. We thank God every day for His Hand al…
My father severely abused me for 11 years, from when I was 4 until I was 15. My mother knew and allowed it to happen. Growing up in church, I was always taught that God would protect me, that He'd be there for me in my times of trouble and need. But He wasn't there. I thought He had given up on me. So I gave up on Him. There have been dozens of offers to various churches over the decades. "I don't believe" "I've been hurt before"...and my excuses would go on.. But one day, at an Aqua Zumba class, Sheila Wheeler invited me to come with her to visit her church...and despite being an introverted soul who'd had…
