E10 Church Family, 

 

We want to share with you an important update. Yesterday, Lauren Harris let us know that she is stepping down as E10’s Children and Youth Director, effective immediately. But this does not mean she plans to leave our church. She told us that she and her family intend to stay at E10, and she plans to continue to volunteer when possible. She will also lead, as a volunteer, the next two Friday night Bible Bootcamps on 8/12 and 8/19. 

 

We know this is a fast transition, and we are working on the details to ensure that we continue to provide our children and youth the best possible ministry programming. By the end of the month, we plan to schedule a big volunteer meeting for anyone who would like to help with our children and youth in this transition season.

 

We want to state our deep appreciation for all Lauren has done for our church family over the last five years. Lauren has helped us walk through challenging seasons like Dave’s transition and COVID-19. She has loved our children and youth, helped grow our programming, and provided support to other ministry areas at E10. We cannot say thank you enough for all she has done. 

 

And as she enters this new season of her life in the coming weeks as a full-time teacher at Halifax Academy and the head coach of both their JV and Varsity Volleyball Teams, we pray that God blesses her richly.
